This pic was sketched out a few months back, but didn't really finish it till yesterday. Didn't know what medium to use for this one... After flipping a few watercoloring books, i was quite inspired by a particular technique which i went ahead with applying it to this painting, splattering and making a big mess of my table :p Took a few photos of it!

Had to cover up the areas that i didn't want the paint to get in... so I did a cut out of the girl's silouhette and used that as a cover. (Wanted to give up then.... :x)

...And after that, the clouds were painted by dabbing paint with a tissue paper.

I am quite pleased with the two effects, however... the picture still seems rather incomplete... Maybe too soft... and many many mistakes. But I didn't want to touch it anymore. The more i try to add on and correct, the worse it will get...so gonna leave it as it is.
Medium: watercolors, color pencils, white gouache, signo gold pen on watercolor paper
