...One day, Len got really really bored. She didn't want post her works on DA. Neither does she wanna post in FAC. She just want a quiet space for herself. Somewhere where no one will comment or spy on. So she made this :P

Sunflower!

Feeling a bit restless these days... Maybe it's the weather... Anyways, weekend! Didn't feel like playing games or anything.... so draw! Went to flip a watercolor book which I bought sometime ago and was quite inspired to paint some fairies. While facing the paper... I thought of sunflowers, the clothing sort of resembled that. Add in a sunny personality and a huge sunflower and voila! Done. Just that the sketch was too messy to put in the fairy wings, so I forgot about it in the end. While painting the bg, I sort of regretted putting the blues.... turned out a bit... not quite to my liking. Somehow, I wondered if I should refine the pic more with color pencils, but somehow, the thought of overdo-ing things came a gain..so left it as it is.

Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh >_< gotta start thinking about my buddy's request >_< it's been so long and I'm still having a block there........ T.T

Silly me

Nan De Hu Tu

It's hard to be smart
It's hard to be "hu tu" (not smart)
Transforming from smart to "hu tu" is harder still

Yield a little
Back down a step
Think and be careful
All for rewards in the future

Recently have been finding myself in a dumb mode. Old habit of forgetting my handphone is back! Ah well... That's when I suddenly remembered this phrase that my mum mentioned to me some years back. Went to search it up, kind of like the meaning behind and edited the original calligraphy into a wallpaper. Guess what? It's now on my office com desktop. On the surface, it's a motivation line of 'dun take things so seriously', yet those who truly understand will see a knife self-planted in my back. Haha... Gonna leave it there till I leave my post. Holding no grudge, just wonder if curious people who think will catch the hint. Heh, those who see will see ba... Hope can explore more eateries with my friends before leaving.... yum yum!

Weee....

Haha, didn't draw much these days. It's hard trying to switch between art as work and art as leisure in just hours. Met up with a friend today and we had a nice talk. She spoke to me about her troubles. Kind of expected so, but it was a totally different issue from what I imagined... Unfortunate events happen... but it's just too much and all too sudden. Hopefully she can stand up soon. Gotta check out what events are coming up, maybe we can get the booth setting dream working for now, lol...

Changi T3

weeeee~~ Went out for a sketching session with my polymates today! It was supposed to be at 4pm, but majority arrived later, even the organiser was the last to arrive! XD Toured around Changi airport's terminal 3 (gee... i thoughtT3 meant the budget terminal...guess that's what happens when u dun read the papers...) Anyways! Did a few pages of gesture doodles... and headed to the basement with HY to grab a bit of food. While eating and slacking, she gave me a piece of colored paper, and we both started doing a colored piece. I tried out my newly bought color pencil set (fly fly $45 fly fly~~) and woooosh! It's really easy to blend, and I quite like the texture it gives compared to my old faber castel set.

The piece was unfinished at that time, so I went home and added in what I remember of that scene.
