Was doing my lantern over the weekend. Made me pretty fed up, especially when trying to figure out the placement for the light bulb. Dad tried to help me with the mechanics of it... but in the end, i took a small torch light (freebie of the freshmen orientation camp :p) and stuffed it in the middle (cos the battery pack was burning after five minutes of using). Hey, looked pretty good, and just threw my light bulbs aside... Mum helped out a lot with the sewing and cutting of the cloth pieces, since I end up spoiling every single cloth that comes my way.... (makes me feel like I did nothing.... T_T ah well... I built the skeleton...) She was pretty excited to see the final result. Wonder how the feedback would be tomorrow? Anyways, as long as can pass, me happy liao.

I didn't want to use the torchlight at first, cos the light was just too white... But after meddling with the wires and bulbs for almost two hours, I gave up the bulb idea.

From the top, it looked like the top of a pear/ apple.... The torchlight was somehow stuck inside with the help of a wire ring, which held the outer cloth pieces together.

Looks like a jellyfish, they say...

What really surprised me was the unexpected blue light captured in the photographs.

Yea, my bro is in there :D
After that, it was already nite time. Was a bit brain dead to do lit (gives me the worst headaches...), so tried to complet my 2D linoprint assignment.

Did a test print with poster paints, and saw my errors. Ah well... there goes three days.....
